3M 467MP is a thin adhesive transfer tape using 3M 200MP acrylic adhesive. It is used for bonding nameplates, graphic overlays and other thin components.
Construction and application fit
An adhesive transfer tape leaves an adhesive layer after liner removal rather than a conventional film or foam carrier. The manufacturer lists a typical adhesive thickness of 0.06 mm for 467MP. Metal and high surface energy plastics are relevant substrate groups.
Selection and validation
For thin overlays, compare edge visibility, surface texture and final bond-line thickness. 468MP provides a thicker adhesive layer in the same family; it is not a direct thickness substitute. Test the actual printed finish, coating and plastic grade before production.
Converting and supply
Send the overlay or nameplate material, mating surface, dimensions and quantity. For converted parts, include the cut outline, registration needs and preferred liner presentation. Confirm the roll format and current data sheet when requesting a quotation.
